That being said, main issue I've noticed is that cutting 1-2 people away from scout killing role makes it a lot more tasking for the remaining teammates outside, and people inside the vehicle can not pop stratagems. My problem right now is they tend to get saved until the very end of the mission, where I tend to deploy them less out of need, and more out of me just wanting to deploy them, yet I've seen situations (and been in) where a vehicle would be quite useful, if not run saving, if it were brought initialy with the group, as there isn't enough time to deploy and board one mid fight (most of the time). Theres a whole list for borgs and illums but im fairly certain nobody will read this and my ranting has cooled me down after the last 10 babysitting riously one was with a group of 40's that played worse than 10's ugh. if you are leaning on the mechs to carry you its a clear sign you are in over your head. but they are slow as crap have a limited ammo count and fairly easy to destroy by a charging bug you dont see from off screen or just random stupidity. stay away from mechs, do they work? yes. i get rng loadouts will stick you with them tho. I cant tell you how many times i have seen my randoms caught between bugs they cant handle, and suicide from a 5 salvo arty thats raining down. for retaliation missions, dont bring anything that fires more than one salvo.ever. if you are not going to take the terrain booties, bring stun grenades.for 13-15 bug missions there is just no better safeguard when ♥♥♥♥ goes south. "oh hey theres bugs spawning around the defense point.sorry all i got are nukes, i cant drop one without destroying the obj.tee hee hee i love being brainless." and hes the most useless player on any team. but theres one guy running around thats all he brings. i love my rumbler.but theres a time and place for it. if someone has a tox gun THEN you can bring a rumbler to snipe at those little tentacle bastards or help deal with the heavies. stops bugs from charging, slows them down. you waste 4 clips and the heavies are still pouring in and it takes you an hour to reload. if you are lucky they spawn all at one point as often as not however, they dont. and sometimes you get a lot of heavies that spawn in one group. dont bring a rumbler unless your team has the anti tank aspect covered. they stop bugs cold and only slow players down. and they are super awesome when you get those commander swarms that spring up smack in the middle of your team. The solution? bring stun mines, they have a slightly faster recharge time? i think?. Or they get deployed where players either cant see them or are busy dealing with a swarm and just dont see them, boom, no more player. But players sprinkle them around destructible objectives, the bugs run over the mines then boom, no more obj. I am not asking for perfect runs.īut i am seeing 30's and 40's that are legit running like they are lvl 10. Out of every 20 games, 19 are baby sitting runs. So i started playing again and, i get it most of the vets have bowed out, its rare i see the older 50's vets, you can tell by their play style which string of meta was popular as they were ranking, but the higher teirs are just jammed packed with noobs.
